I question his knowledge of nutrition along with making fun of his "certification"
i <3 myspace
now i just go on to see if i got any messages or anything.. teh facebook owns though
Listening to stupid people post about F&N passes the time at work. My actual page really sucks, I don't really do the whole friend thing on there, just the forums and groups.
i want to get certified
Once you do... you'll really see what a joke cert's are
maybe so but i could get paid to do something i like doing.
Guys I never told yall this but I have a CSCS and you should all be doing Blinger-squats.
DON'T YOU DARE QUESTION MY CERTIFICATION.
i don't think the rack i work out in could handle the stress
But it gets hard when you realize that your client simply doesn't have the same drive, motivation, dedication that you (may or may not) have.
That would be the worst. ive had so may friends try to go to the gym with me.. Most dont make it a month.
It actually pains me to see the tiny little ecto struggling on the machines, obviously no energy, skin and bones because he just doesn't know any better.
It pains me the most because that was me 4 years ago...
I trained people for about 8 months when I first got certified. I never wanted to train fucktards who were just trying to tone up, but guess what; I did. If you want to make money you will have to end up dealing with a lot of people who have no motivation to diet, bitch piss and moan about every exrecise and expect amazing and impossible results (i want abs like brad pitt in fight club says the skinny fat guy). And you get to fight with a bunch of dumbasses over who gets to train these wastes of time. In the end I decided to only train athletes and to be selective, in other words if they piss me off or complain, I ddrop them. I don't do it for the money anymore, so it is nice to be able to have this luxury. All in all the personal training business sucks ass.
I just tried to take someone to the gym with me last week. They wanted to start working out so I had them doing squats with 95lbs...after one set he started to feel it a little and then he gave up and didn't want to do them anymore. He ended up just playing around with some machines and sitting on a recumbent bike while I finished my workout. Never again will I take a friend to the gym with me unless I am not working out and just showing them proper form.
I was there once to. 165 lb 6ft tall skinny fat.
Is this a misprint???
I can bulk on 2150 calories???
obviously everyone is different
on an off week with little or no activity I need to eat around 3500 kcals to maintain
on a week where I am just lifting I eat around 4500-5000 to maintain
on a week when I am training for a fight and I want to keep my weight up I need around 7k a day
I lose weight at a comfortable rate at around 5-6k a day right now
Nope, I told him that I cut at that and lose 1.5-2lbs a week and he told me not to question his certification.
I have an A+ cerfication
does it count?
it should, the level of knowlege that an A+ requires in the computer field is probably higher than every fitness cert other than a cscs
ISSA is pretty good from what I've seen, ACE is a complete fucking joke.
i went with the issa b/c of its affiliation with fred hatfield (best 1000# squat of all time)
half the major corporate gyms don't even accept it.....and when i train privately I could tell the people I was certified by the NRA and they would'nt know the difference. Anyway, the cirriculum in the ISSA wasn't terrible but then again it wasn't Hatfield.
i have a certification in caring
which color are you?
