congrats. new toys are always fun
get a good deal?
1200 on a refurb, and had 100 amazon gift card from my sister, so only paying 1100
Should of spend extra $300 and gotten new one.
I thinking I am getting mine in a few days!
decided fuck it...the 28-70 is a damned sweet lens and will work just fine...I'll get the 70-200 eventually
almost pulled the trigger on the Tamron version couple weeks ago in Dallas for like half the price. But it doesn't have VR
Well, 1/2 the puzzle is solved. Pay off this one and save up for the other!
D80 to dust collecting status hoooooooooooooooo
Congrats, you're gonna love it.
I gotta pull the trigger on the 70-200 very soon too.
I HAVE to since my boss said "we gotta get you shooting soon". I've been the lighting assistant for like 3 months now but he knows I came in to shoot, not to be an assistant from the get-go. Shelling out $1800 is a bitch though, specially since I just dropped 3K on the D700 a few months back. Whatever, I guess its gotta be done...Im thinking by next month.
you'll forget all about it the second you touch the shaft of that lens.
ya, I said shaft.
You know thats exactly how I felt with the D700. I was like "FUCK I now have a CC bill" And as soon as it came in I forgot all about it. The camera can allow me to do jobs that the D70s would have never been able to handle. Sure I could've lit the shit out of a room but it's so much easier just bumping the ISO to 3200 and shoot away. Maybe I'll run to BH and give them my soul next week.
I see your work on flickr. some cool shit.
you'll love it
i'm forcing myself to sell mine.
I don't need two expensive bodies
you want to sell?
Do they make the 70-200 in white still. I know it's making it look like Canon but I like it better.
I think that's only a european market thing, if they even make it anymore. Its like a pink unicorn, its more rare than rare. Although, has browns has one... maybe we could jump him and snag it from him.
I really should to try and offset the cost some
the wife says it's too big for her
