It's kinda bizarre because even Ukrainians are confused about this exchange. What the fuck does he need Medvedchuk for? He is useless. No one expected Putin to return Azov senior officers and commanders because they promised to execute them and 24/7 were yelling from all corners how they are all nazis and the biggest enemies of Russia.

yeah... it strikes me as a move by the oligarchs moreso than Putin, could be a sign that he's feeling enough pressure to start conceding to them on some issues? Was Medvedchuk well-liked by other Russian oligarchs (as far as they can like each other, rather)?

Something fishy is certainly going on here. I'm wondering if putler approved any of this at all, it goes against his rhetoric for the last several months. Then again, it's not like he's known for keeping his word or anything.

thanks, Lithuanian brothers

deported a Russian citizen by literally throwing him out (and his bike) on the border with Belarus
that kick at the end  "hey Russian swine, are you gonna go home or what?"

Why is nobody (Finland, Lithuania) willing to consider Russian nationals as refugees trying to escape a tyrannical dictator that would have conscripted into the meat grinder?

because 80% of Russians support the war in Ukraine even if they don't want to be at the front lines themselves. Fuck these people, they are responsible for voting for Putin initially and then not opposing him when he decided to stay in power indefinitely.
