We'll since we retired all of our marine heavy armor we obviously didn't see it as an issue. Add that to standing down 2 Army Armored divisions in the 90s

Really F-16's and F-15's are the last piece of this puzzle. Attack helicopters are a bonus, they need more transport helicopters IMHO to conduct air assaults to really open things up and the air assets to protect them.

the question is where are they coming from.
