Looks like we may have an F-35 down outside of Ft Worth. He squawked 7700, was undulating in altitude, hit 0ft and lost contact in a field. Seems he was trying to make it there instead of going down in a neighborhood.
Yeah, that was difficult to watch. They had a choice though, refuse to join the army and either go to prison or flee the country. That's what i would have done if i were him

The US is currently looking into if that flight path is necessary and if the intel gathered is worth it in an effort to deconflict with Russia.
Looks like that F-35 was out of NAS Ft Worth, which is where the other one crashed in December...
