so i just started the anabolic diet created by Dr. DiPasquale. im sure somee of you have heard of it. basically it involves eating high fat and high protein (mostly red meat) during the week with less than 30 grams of carbs per weekday. on the weekends you basically carb-load. this may seem like a stupid question but ive always had the impression that your body uses proteins for energy when it doesnt have a supply of carbs, but dr. dipasquale attests that when carbs arent present your body begins using the supply of fats ur giviing it as energy.
