Milk, white rice, yogurt??
i heard mcdonalds double cheesebuger. I think it was from this subforum too.
i drink milk and eat yogurt... but i'm not bulking... hm...
I think the type of carbs you are taking in will probably be different. But in terms of protein just eat more of what you have been doing. Oh, i know some allow steak and ground beef in their diets during bulks, but not during cuts.
why no steak? I've been eating oatmeal, chicken, protein shakes, eggs, salad, tuna, PB sandwich, and bunch of other veggies/fruits for awhile now.
fat content, most likely... even lean steak has a pretty sizeable amount of fat in it
For me, I am doing good if I am not eatign fucking mcdonalds and whataburger everyday... so pretty much fast food is off limits most of the time.
I drink some milk, and eat soem rice while i have been "cutting"

If you are watching your macros it could make a signifcant difference in meal planning. Steak tends to have alot of fat and could end up taking nearly all your fat requirement for the meal. On a cut the fat would ideally come from other sources such as...
natural peanut butter
Some people just save the steak for a cheat meal or for a bulk. The other big reason is that steak is kinda expensive

since none of you most likely have cut and know what it takes I will say this. The only thing that changes is the amount of red meats and starchy carbs. All other foods are the same.

I don't really eat red meat ATM, but that has mroe to do with the fact that i don't grill on weekdays and it taste like ass microwaved.
it has to do with how your skin looks and some other strange shit. Red meats have more sodium. THe fats are perfectly fine when dieting. WHen i was doing whites for 8 weeks and reds once a week I would wake up fuller the next day.
Most high protein foods will do. Chicken is good, ditto fish.
But seriously, lots of Milo with milk works well, museli is good.
Everything works well, just keep off the junk food. The biggest problem i find is figuring out how much food you need, if you dont feel full most of the time, your not bulking effectivly.
Do you guys cut the fat off your steak?
What I meant was most people are trying to gain and the ones wanting to cut don't really need to.
oh, was fatdude calling me anal? My apologies as i didn't mean to come off like that. I'm certainly not following a strict diet to that degree and still consider myself a begginer. I'm just going off some things i read from swolecat...
His clients have great results but the macros and timing is pretty strict.
