I was considering getting a Samsung E720 or E730, but I wasn't sure if they would be able to work on the T-Mobile network here in Chicago. I've heard complaints about the E720 and E730 for Cingular customers, since there's no 850Mhz band and that the phones won't work on their networks.

If I'm not mistaken, T-Mobile also uses (850, 1800, 1900Mhz), but would it still be an issue, since the E720/730 only run (900, 1800, 1900Mhz)?

I was also wondering where the best place for me to get an E720/730 would be--I'm looking at Ebay right now, and they've got the E720 for $150 + $20SH. Any good dealer sites out there for cheaper?

    Many thanks in advance!

No T-mobile does use the 850 mhz in all areas in some areas they use 900 mhz and if im not mistaken they use the 900 mhz band more than the 850 mhz band. In Florida phones with the 900 mhz band work perfectly on T-mobile.
