thoughts on this:
bruise looks overly fake, and they need a bit of separation from the BG... other than that, I like the concept.
thanks. thats exactly what I thought. Making bruises is harder than I thought.
Needs more bloody nose and crying to look real. Dude doesn't look pissed enough either.
Also not crazy about the lighting and shadows around her chin. Your other noir work looked much better.
I got the feeling that she got hurt by her bf/husband and this man is a cop. He seems too emotionally detached to be a family member.
I dont like the shadows on guys hand/girls chin
needs more angry pimp then.
Also, it doesn't look like the two are making eye contact. Expressions need to be different as well.
I guess she's pretty smart, since he only told her once.
redid it with a different shot and MUCH different processing.
feedback on this one:
How does that chick come out like a CG rendered character everytime? Is it just me?!?
I'm not even really doing anything to her except for the bruise....
Looks like a character out of a video game, like resident evil.
Didn't even notice the bruise in the first pic until Interworks mentioned it. Like the picture though.
I kinda got the same impression.
No, I know that. I meant what about her looks CG?
The difference in color between her face and neck (in both pictures due to lighting)
If you are whitening her whites in her eyes tone that down a bit. If you are applying extra sharpening around her eyes and lips tone that down a bit too...I think these may help humanize her.
I like separation form background in second one, but bruise in first one
