hello, I am looking at getting a hand-held scanner next month, but I have a question about frequencies, The scanner I am looking at has a 6 number thing (121.100), but I the freqs I am looking at using it are 5 numbers, (121.10) will I be able to listen to the 5 number freqs on it?
here is what I am looking at:
    http://www.radioshack.com/product.a...y_name=CTLG_008_009_010_005&product_id=20-315

I plan to use it to listen to whats happening at my airport and for listening to storm chasers for this spring and summer.

yes, it will work. the extra digit on the right provides higher resolution. tuning to 121.10 on that scanner would be 121.100. However, you could tune in between those with that scanner, such as 121.105
