i wonder if they 'new' skyline will have the nissan v8 in it from the q45/fx45 cars...
kinda how the audi s4 went from the turbo to the big v8
The engine bay is so ugly now
Look at all that gap. It just looks so bad compared to the Skyline's bay.
smallest engine bay evar
Now it's a real car.
I bet that mop bucket will be funner to ride
thats pretty fuckin cool
I'd hit it.
Exactly how it should have been built.
Waste, they should have put real thought into it and turbo'd the 3.5. It's been done with great results.
agreed. And not some damn truck motor, Honda tuned for "performance"
2900lbs is no bullshit either. I cant imagine what that would feel like with a high rev, boosty engine.
just another japanese car that performs better with a non-stock motor.
Turboed truck motor < *
I think its gay just because of all the people sack riding the opinion thats it only a decent car because of the RB26.
ill be impressed when they get it running, and it makes some good numbers
RB26 >>>>>>VQ by a landslide. It has NOT been done with great results. Greddy is the only company to have done it and it was rediculously expensive for such a little power increase.
The V6 engine configuration is not the best engine to modify. Not enough bearings, have to buy 2 of everything, not balanced. Its an abysmal engine to mod.
Where the fuck did you think the RB came from?
Lets just say it wasn't always in super duper sports car.
2900 lbs- ok..................
how much $$ is the 350Z ?
how much $$ is that swap ?
race weight of my old Z06 with me in it... 3185 lbs. I weigh 210. do the math. just 100 lbs more.
i wonder which car would be more reliable ? Z06 with mild mods or the hybrid 350Z.
i wonder on the cost....
Truck motor? Why exactly is an rb26 better?
Especially considering he's only putting a single turbo on there anyway, why not get an rb25 then?
More money then sense. Still, good luck to him for whatever he was hoping to achieve.
Your right, a turbo CA woulda been cooler.
