Nope, never tried muscle milk light. Once I'm done with my max milk I plan to never buy meal replacement shakes again.

Ok I posted a stupid thread before ... So I'm transferring it here:

    Here's my situation:

My goal is to get bigger (bulk up).

I've been going to the gym, focusing on the upper body, but not on my abs/stomach area. Don't ask why, I've just been really busy as of late and bla bla bla lack of motivation/stupid.

So now, I have this beer belly (not that big) that I need to get rid of, while also focusing on my goals of bulking up since I'm pretty skinny.

I'm 5"11, 175 pounds. A good portion of that is my stomach....

What do I eat and how much? What do I focus on in my work out routine? Do I focus on "losing fat" or do I go with the "Bulk up" routine? Which one do I follow including the diet and all that?

Read the first post, calculate your BF%. It doesn't matter which you do first. Your routine should be about the same for either bulking or cutting +- some cardio. Your diet is mostly what changes. Really it doesn't matter if you start lifting with some volume and intensity and eat protien it will all work it self out.

with the HIIT, it says do sprint for 30s, then jog for 30s, rinse repeat...

what exactly is sprinting/jogging? how are they different? what speed on the treadmill would be considered sprinting and which for jogging?

i currently go to the gym 3-5 times a week, i usually do cardio for 20-25 min then i go work on my upper body or my lower body depending on what i did the day before... i have been taking 23g of protein 1 hour before i go to the gym then i take some muscle milk when i am finished working out. i find that my weight is fluctuating up and down and i want to cut faster. would there be any benefit to me taking more protein or should i take less protein... or what should i be doing with my routine. any help would be greatly appriciated and im sorry if i didnt post this in the right area and i didnt read this whole thread :o

    Great thread!

I've been working out consistently everyday at work for the last 2 months and have definitely been seeing results. However, I think I need to do more to increase muscle mass. Would creatine help with that? I currently dont take it now but I have significantly increased my protein intake. :dunno:

In the creatine subject, yesterday I was talking to one of the trainers at the gym and he suggested taking one pill before workout, 1 after and 1 before going to bed...I never heard of that, what do you guys think?

Not really important. Taking it along with carbs is more important but nothing to be anxious about.

Here's a stupid question - after doing all my calculations for my maintenance calories I ended up with about 2975 (assuming an AF of 1.6 not counting my cardio every other day and a lean body mass of 150 lbs)

Is this right? I really want to eat almost 3000 calories to cut fat? I've been staying at or around 2000 because I thought that was the right amount - was I wrong?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, I'm so fucking far out of my element here it's ridiculous
