This is what I came up with
its 100% completely out of focus
I can't figure out exactly what I'm looking at there. Is it just a disc laying on your desk, reflecting light from your monitor?
Maybe you need to get your eyes checked
Your picture isn't very clear, I was asking for a better explanation of it
It's called thin film interference -check it out:
I put cool colors on my LCD display and reflected them off onto the DVD-R not much more to explain.
I tried this out because I remember Skolen and his bender stuff
try again and get the disc in focus
Isn't that what I asked the first time?
I did something similar when I first picked up my D80. Alternated a yellow and blue full screen image from my laptop around the subject. I was really, really bored
not when the entire picture is oof
It's not all OOF.
There's a substantial amount of OOF though
I'm telling you it's the 50 f/1.8 it does that
This actually looked kind of cool and I was bored ... so....
CD-R with a reflection of Fusion's image from my LCD
wow those pictures are awesome
your dof is WAY to narrow on this shot. It may have worked if you had your focal point as the hole in the center of the CD instead of the rim just above it. Since the area you have as your focal point is a pretty smooth and uniform area it makes the whole image look oof.... And to compound that, this is really boring.... the comp isn't very exciting. Had you done something a little more unique with the comp, this might have turned out interesting.
this picture is too artsy for me
You've got to be joking.
you must be fuckin bored to be taking pics of a cd in your room
