Oh wait, there is no discussion here, /thread
and after, still fired dirty, and clean!
ahh, the joys of reloading and learning the hardway
I wanna see this guys hand!
that's not a factory spring, so, next?
according to topglock.com it is...
fixed your statement
yeah, they try to sell you "superior" titanium and tungsten parts
crock of shit
that's for weight/followup rather than durability
Those reloads -- factory reloads or billy bob in the back shed reloads?
This Glock vs all other pistols argument is stupid.
The Glock design is what, 25 years old by now? Technology and design have gotten better, same with materials. Acting like a newer design can't be better, because it doesn't say Glock on it, is assinine.
I guess that means that mausers are POSs as well, since the design is what....109 years old?
Reading comprehension > you both
I said ,"Acting like a newer design can't be better, because it doesn't say Glock on it, is assinine".
I didn't say it is, or isn't.
For the record, I have 2 Mosin Nagants, and a break-action rifle. I have guns that are much older designs than Glocks. I'm not saying the Glock is a bad design because it is older, I'm saying there could be better, newer designs out there.
while the threadstarter is generally a dumbass, i will have to agree here... glock > *
why do people reference about having WWII surplus rifles as if its some rite of passage? you dropped $100 at a gun show that doesn't make you a weapons connoisseur
Make enough of anything and you'll start to see that "negligible failure rate" emerge as the occasional actual failure - especially if it's mass produced.
One, it was an example on how I'm not saying old weapons are bad. Either you guys are a little too touchy about Glock, or you just can't comprehend things in front of you.
Two, What the heck made you some kind of gun connoisseur? Because you only buy Redding reloading stuff? Seriously, I couldn't care less how much of a firearm God you think you are. Some of you Glock guys are worse than most bandwagon people.
Are you denying it? You don't think technology, materials, and design for firearms could have gotten better in the past quarter-century? If you don't think there is a possibility someone figured out a better way of doing things in the past 25 years, you are ignorant.
Link to where people act like that? Personally, I got into milsurps because the ammo is cheap as fuck, the rifle is inexpensive, and they are easy to use/maintain. Plus, I just like the look of them.
Agreed, I'm about to go try the first batch of handloaded ammo in my Mosin 91/30 at this very moment.
To those arguing the glock "technology"... Liken it to the AK47. They are proven, simple designs, are there newer, better designs out there? ... Probably... but there's alot to be said for keeping it simple.
