All the bullets 55gr Winchester bullets on Midway's site are listed as .224 diameter...what gives?
That's 1/1000th of an inch bro.
1. buy ammo lathe
2. shave it down .001
Or, just don't worry about the typo.
Or don't worry about the .001 It's nothing, and I'm sure that some of them will be .223 .224 .225
Or stop fucking with your av so I know who you are.
I got tired of beet. It's been what like three years since I've listened to Stern.
The assembly line that I supervise cannot assemble parts if the parts are out of print by 1/1000th of an inch so I am somewhat sensitive to the topic...especially when it's my AR that may be at risk
They're the sand to fit models for superior accuracy
Yeah and I used to be a machinist. The barrel is smaller than the bullet. .001 isn't going to matter.
That's how they come. Tight bore fight.
lol, yeah, your okay bro. It's .224 because they are loose bullets and when you reload them the crimp eliminates the .001.
a .270 bullet is .277
.280 is .284
.260 is .264
.300 is .308
etc etc etc
