hi can anyone tell me how tracer rounds are made?
as far as I know there is a capsule of tracer compound that is molded into the base of the bullet (making the bullets longer for there weight) which is lit by the burning powder.
is it phosphorous?
Ever heard of "Google"?
Wideners has surplus .224 and .30 tracers for cheap. It's going to be a lot cheaper to buy those then make your own.
