New body panels, new drivetrain (5.3L V8 290HP), touched up interior, and uh, still front wheel drive. :hs:

The Holden VE Commodore based 2008 Impala can't come soon enough. :coolugh:

Aren't facelifts supposed to make things look better? :o Or at the very least, update the looks so it doesn't look so dated. This looks like it belongs in the early 90s.

The first thing I thought of when I saw that front end was the thankfully dead Lumina.

    FWD V8. :wtc:

Seriously, it looks like the ugliest car ever and it has the worst possible drivetrain combination: a heavy powerful V8 in the front powering the front wheels. It's gonna have shitloads of torque steer and handle like a brick.

    :hsugh:

It's more like a band-aid until Chevrolet starts selling these here.

Unless it drives like the 300hp FWD Caddies which don't have those problems. Different platforms though.

do designers actually go home and say "wow, I made a great looking car today" so many new cars are so fucking boring, and they wonder why sales are down
