If they offered a decent gaming library for $10 a month I would buy this instantly. But aside from the free Destiny 2, which I don't care about, it's probably a bunch of shit free-to-play games like Angry Birds or Fruit Ninja.

I'm cautiously optimistic but I'm not early adopting this shit

Wait... streaming realtime video game AV from someone else's server? Is lag no longer an issue?
You can already do this with PSNow, you can play PS4 exclusives on PC with just a subscription to the service. I probably wouldn't want to play Street Fighter or anything, but even an action game like Bloodborne works just fine. Needs fast Internet and a good computer though. I don't know why a powerful PC makes a difference since all it's doing is hardware upscaling, but it definitely does.

the main drawback I can see right now is bandwidth usage for single player games. Streaming 4K to your TV all day is gonna chunk through bandwidth quickly for people with data caps

I have trouble believing those speeds, or more that those speeds have much meaning. With PSNow, it makes a huge difference whether I'm on WiFi or wired. A static speed test shows 135Mbps download on WiFi and 165Mbps on wired, but PSNow is pretty much unplayable on WiFi for me

wifi has two problems

1) interference - any interference + distance will cause a throughput drop. this will also cause JITTER which is the bane of these things.
2) negotiated speeds - depending if you have the sweet spot of chipsets, 802.11 compatibility, MIMOs, etc, wired is always best.

that said whats your NAT settings like, any DMZ router settings, and whats UPNP look like

What's the settings that make me able to play Bloodborne on my PC without any issues? That's the settings I have
wired MTU and wireless MTU is different.

try to lower your MTU on your PS4 wireless to something at or below 1473

id bet it gets slightly better

i dont think this NEEDS 35 mbs. i think it wants 35mbs so when your kids or wife or roomates are viewing strong pornography it wont impact your game.

hmmm

I'll wait until I hear what games you are going to be able to play before I form an opinion on this.
