Shands has been given legal access to Jonathan's medical records. Shands neuro department will now be involved and have a meeting scheduled tonight with Chinese doctors. They are calling Jen afterwards with all translation and updates and opinions etc. great news!! United States is now legally involved!!

We'll know more in a little while after the doctors speak to the Chinese hospital. It seems like that may be the case, but there's been a lot of problems getting information because of legal and language barrier issues. His family actually believed he was dead on Saturday, then learned that he was actually alive on life support. I'm just hoping they fucked up again and maybe there is some hope for a recovery.

How do they do a medivac flight from China to Florida. Do they even have medivac planes that can make that journey without making 11ty stops?
