This story comes to me from my time at ALS. The reason I am reminded about the story is because I saw the main character today. Our class leader was an 11 year SrA(E-4), waiting to complete ALS to pin on SSgt(E-5). He was over about 42 people broken up into three flights. His job was easy: take information given to him by the instructors and pass it down to the flight leaders, and vice versa. He just happened to be in my class. One day my flight showed up in BDUs, while the rest of the class showed up in blues. The class leader shows up in blues, making him the only person in my flight wearing blues. The instructor told my flight to go home right before lunch to change uniforms. Everyone goes home and does just that. We all show back up in our blues except one guy. The class leader. He went home and changed into his BDUs. At this point it became very obvious why he was an 11 year SrA(E-4). It was so funny our instructor would not permit us to laugh while the class leader was present. I almost died that day from laughter. I have a pic but I think it would be wrong to post it. Story time is over kids, go do some work. *Cliffs: Brother takes kids on vacation, bear attacks kid, kid gets free lunch at Denny's.
