So that I wouldn't be put on training hold I took my last PT test with a partially dislocated shoulder. I had shoulder reconstruction 4 weeks later, my 3rd shoulder surgery in 26 months.

Priorities.

PT test counts as 1/4 of your grade point average in flight school, and your GPA is how they depend the order for selecting aircraft. I wasn't willing to let the Army give me what ever aircraft they wanted just because my shoulder hurt.

I know. The reason I'm mad about being hurt now is that I was trying to get the ROTC scholarship and now I won't be able to for awhile because I can't pass a PT test. When my parents found out I was contracting they stopped helping pay for college, so I needed that money badly.

yea i had to do my 'battlestations' and my final pt test, which is only 1.5 miles but with sores almost as bad as bracacks and a stress fracture it sucked, but i think it was worth it to not get stuck behind at boot for a few extra months

Everytime we have our 6 mile run in the morning, I always come close to shitting myself by the 4th mile. My stomach is so messed up in the morning. Whenever I get up early, I have explosive diarrhea
