Took 2 weeks off before Christmas. Ran a 10k on Christmas. Doing my 2017/2018 goal of running 1000 miles this year.
You still pulling back your miles?
Yep, I’m down to about only about 20 a week average now and seeing better results on putting on mass. But still ultimately trying to attack two competing goals so after another couple weeks I’ll prob switch back to focusing on runningYou still pulling back your miles?
Glad it's working for you my man.Yep, I’m down to about only about 20 a week average now and seeing better results on putting on mass. But still ultimately trying to attack two competing goals so after another couple weeks I’ll prob switch back to focusing on running
Bump. About to go run in the snow. Running sucks. Running without your running mate sucks even more. Need to fast forward to October so I can run with my new dog.
8 miles is a lot.went 8.25 today. 10:04 pace. Not bad for getting shit faced for the first time in a month
I wasn’t missing my day off run. First three miles were exactly 10:03 so I was pretty happy with that stride pacing regardless of terrain.
You can always run tomorrowWas thinking about going for a run this morning, but I'm going to spend the day watching TV instead.![]()
Same. My leg hurts. Think I’m going to be smart for a single time in my life and actually take a day offWas thinking about going for a run this morning, but I'm going to spend the day watching TV instead.![]()
Rainy and particularly snowy runs are fun once you just lean into it. I’ve also learned to love night runs this winter especially

Yep. I would maybe prefer it a bit warmer than 30 since I’m a pussy, but a run in the pitch blackness on a crisp cold night is so refreshingJust a pre-shower shower
Night runs with no moon are the best. Stars everywhere.
Had a no moon, super clear night, temps in the mid 30s 7pm run the other night. Was an amazing time actually.
Stretch constantly till thenStarted new Garmin program
Day 1 - 800 intervals
Day 2 - 30 second hill intervals
Day 3 - run 7 miles.
Did the 7 miles today and now my right leg is killing me. Calf/foot pain, should have stopped but I'm stupid so there's that. Now on pain pills and resting until Wednesday when we do it all over again.

I just moved to an area w/ snow. What gear do you use to run in 30* temps?Bump. About to go run in the snow. Running sucks. Running without your running mate sucks even more. Need to fast forward to October so I can run with my new dog.
