My achilles tendinitis lasted 3-4 mos but I stretched & trained around it. I'm in zero drop Altras now, stretch less and feel better. Good luck
PT has been good. Just doing strengthening and stretching for the ankle. And some sort of steroid cream that gets delivered through e-stim.
Knee has a decent amount of fluid around it, so she's been doing cupping, deep tissue massage, and - my least fucking favorite, but probably most effective - dry needling.
She says I'm fine to run, and I "ran" Monday with no pain - it just felt a bit weird. Ankle was 100x better than it had been. She does want me to stay in the Brooks until everything feels better - mainly for stability for my knee.
