I can’t view total miles apparently on Apple health unless I’m missing something. But apparently my average daily mileage was

Slow and steady. Still trying to build miles since foot surgery a year ago. Hard to fathom coming from 12 hour timed runs to 3-6.5 mile runs tops but just got to keep putting them feet down on road or trail.

After being cooped up for 48 hours and only being able to use my home gym it was nice to get some miles in today

Note to self… Running in 6 inches of snow somewhere in between a hard pack and powder is a whole different ball game. Made the sections with ice seem easy by comparison. Add in some steep hills and it was a recipe for humble pie for sure

Feels good getting back. Been a month of -40c weather. After working in basement I think I injured my achilles called Insertional Achilles tendinitis since its just at the heel and pretty minor. Unrelated to running since its been over a month since I was out. Good timing cause looks like we have about a month of good weather possibly

6 years ago was my first marathon. I was pleased how evenly paced it was.

After covid pneumonia and blowing my knee out and gaining 15 lbs I’m back on the wagon. I need my therapy back.

Although it does suck huffin and puffin through 3 miles when I used to do 20 at an 8:15-8:30 pace

That’s the hard part. It’s where I am now, not where I was 5 years ago.

lol i haven't done more than 5 or 10 miles in the last month and did a pretty slow 5k last night easing back into it. i guess one positive is that i am at least able to get my heartrate above 160 now so that's cool
