WAY better character, he's better in it and he does an all around good job. Sidenote this movie doesn't disappoint like I was fearing it would. It's based on a true story or whatever and kinda follows the typical flow of the many stories that have been placed on screen before it.....but it's not a bad movie at all. This is NOT a scarface. It's a rise and fall story but not in the same way. Also it shouldn't be denounced as a "Black" Scarface because as much as it's the story of a very successful black man in the 70's it's not a racially oriented movie for the most part, which is a nice change. It's one of the first movies i've been genuinely impressed with the first time viewing....plus a kickass soundtrack. Thoughts by others?
