I had a friend who owned a GTi VR6 with an intake and everyone would always have him rip it in 1st/2nd to hear the deep “DOOOHHHHHHP“ sound they have.

In hindsight I should have just Googled how the VR6 engine was laid out instead of asking, since this is OT after all
