I did chuckle a few times during the movie, but I found a lot of "Napoleon Dynamite" sad and poignant. Did anyone else have this reaction? I guess I felt this way because Napoleon reminded me of some kids I knew in high school. (Didn't everybody know a kid who bragged about his nunchucks, yet you never saw him with them?) It also made me think about the timelessness and universiality of the teenage experience. "Vote for me and all of your wildest dreams will come true" got to me as well. Strange.
