I didn't know who he was until I read it but
Spiderman 2 is still in my top 5 favorite superhero movies.
Evil dead, and Drag Me To Hell FTW.
ITS GONNA ROX!
hopefully it doesn't fuck up the continutity an be some fucking spin off..
the series has TONS!! (figuratively and literally) of lore... but i got faith in the mighty Sam Raimi
wonder what role Bruce Campbell will play?!
are they still planning this to be live action? I still think Blizz just needs to ramp up their animation team and do it all CGI
they need to hire the guys from S.E.
The cinematic with Bolvar and Saurfang in Dragonblight was truly fucking epic.
Imagine if they made it with improved CGI
HO. LY. SHIT!
Or imagine even better with live-action set-pieces mixed with CGI.
Cool, but I'd rather see a StarCraft movie
I meant a good movie.
this is close enough...
Okay, well two can play at this.
There's your fucking WarCraft.
oh yea word!
I only scanned the article, but I didn't see if it was live action or CGI. Personally I think it should be CGI done by Blizzards cut scene teams. Shit would be cash. Live action would just be pure faggotry.
This should just be all cgi and made internally at blizzard
although it would probably take 50 years to come out if that happened
My favorite part of WoW was all the lore around you while playing, from Warcraft - WC3:FT. I hope whoever is writing the script doesn't try to make it 'mainstream'... although I guess WoW is already as mainstream as its gets, and it's been doing pretty well .
funny how different the response can be depending on the forum you post it in...
I'm still skeptical
Why? It's Legendary pictures with a big budget and an accomplished director. I went to the panel a couple years ago. The initial buzz about the director was Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen), but I much prefer Sam Raimi. Chris Metzen (developed Warcraft/Starcraft/Diablo lore) will be doing the story and Blizzard will have a large part in the development. They don't want this to be "another video game movie". It's important to note that Blizzard initiated the development of this movie, unlike most VG movies. They're not exactly outsourcing the franchise to a production company and saying "have at it".
