finally got the tamron 90mm. Here's some sample pics:
i like your pic makes me want to touch it
Pics look cool, but what do you mean 100% cropped?
cut a piece of the picture out to show you the size of it as if it was 100% out of the camera... since the whole picture would be too big.
cool as shit.
Thats what I thought, but I wanted to make sure. thanks!
im planning to pick up a used canon 100mm for $400
400 is alot.... or I got a smoking deal on mine. I got my used Canon 100mm for 250 shipped. see my recent thread.
The last guy to reply has a 135mm for sale that maybe you could snag for a good price.
that's a crazy deal. it's usually at $400 - $420 used.
Seeing all these macro shots makes me want to pick one up, but then again, I'd probably end up using it once a month. Dunno if it it'd be worth it.
Cool stuff though.
my 135 f2 isnt a macro you will need a tele convertor tube thing
Ooo I assumed it was a macro since it was in a macro thread.... my mistake.
its still a good lens
Nice. I almost want to eat it.
The 90mm isn't just a macro lens... Does great portraits too:
Damn, that lens is tac sharp. I've got the 85 I like using for portraits, so
he took it at F number: 22
of course its sharp
the cat is at 5.6....
Who the fuck shoots macro shots with available light?
Strobes = option to shoot at high f-stop.
Yeah, I was looking at the 85 too. Love that lens!
But I figured I wasn't giving up anything but 1 stop with the Tamron, plus I get macro...
im just saying dont judge a lens at high f stop
