Especially that overpriced monstrosity called the iPod Shuffle.
I saw a 2 gig sansa at Best Buy for a 100 bucks. I just laughed knowing I could get a much better 30 GB player for 15$ less
I bought the 1GB model for $29.99 at Office Depot. I'm interested in their model with the SD expansion port.
Insanely overpriced retailers FTL.
16 gb flash
micro sd card slot
i got the AAA battery powered one for like 15 bucks on woot
SanDisk stuff is cool.
The m240 I bought has 3X the functionality of the Shuffle for almost 1/3 of the price. It even survived the washing machine.
I got a 2 gb sansa for like $30 from SD the other day.
Voided warranty because the non-removable battery died FTL.
friend got Sansa clip
Much better than shufflorz.
you think they have digital music collections to put on it?
or a PC for that matter?
They're all starting to drop pretty steadily. Give it some good marketing and that product will eat the Shuffle alive.
I switched years ago when my POS Creative broke, and never looked back.
I'm sure the orphanage does, this isn't the 1920's
I saw that, it came out a few weeks after I bought the m240.
e280 owner here.
As long as it has a USB 1.1 port, they're golden. Many non-profits just get hand-me-downs.
I wish they would offer something in the 60-80GB range.
I don't even know what I'd put on something that huge.
I could record every lecture for the next 2 quarters.
2 gig version would be great if I used mp3 players.
I'll give any mp3 player a chance, but I think I'm going to have to get an ipod next time I buy one. I want accessories, and it doesn't seem like there is anything out there for anything other than the ipod.
I have around that many GBs worth of music, and an iPod is the only thing I can find that's functional enough to hold it all. That makes me sad.
they make pretty huge microSD cards, why don't you see if there's one big enough and then get one with an expansion slot?
All hail the iPod, the BMW of the consumer electronics world!
