After almost 2 years and 17k pictures, it will be missed.
i shall soon be saying hello....
which cam were they taken with?
My new P&S
you get a D700 or something?
what would give you that impression?
How much did you get for it. Gauging the price I wanna sell my XT for
i just ordered a d80...
selling the Body and 6 gigs for $500.
ordered the d90 last night
i know, i talked about it for so long
No, a friend sold his D50 and asked to be the first person I contact when I'm ready to sell it. I already gave him the kit lens that came w/ the camera for no charge... minus whale sell him the rest.
how does it feel...ive been wanting to switch from d50 to a d80....i just pushed the order button.i feel like a new man
i've been wanting to upgrade from my d100 for a while too
don't have it yet, coming on friday. it was hard to push the order button for me too but i finally decided to do it by breezing through the order process and not looking back. picked up an mb-d80 and extra battery while i was at it, going to go to a local camera store to pick up a tamron 17-50 f/2.8 this week since they have it for 350 new
good buy on the d80 though, that was the camera i wanted to upgrade to for the longest time, but then the d90 came out
yea i wanted the d90 also..but i think the d80 is just what i need. im thinking of getting an mb-d80 also where did you get yours?
i picked mine up from bhphoto. for a while i considered the third-party grips, but i've read some pretty bad reviews about them. i figured i'd rather cash out an extra 40-50 for genuine nikon.
the d80 is very capable, you'd probably do better with it than i would with the d90
don't want to hijack girth's thread. d300 or d700 is his p&s, it means the D3X is coming
I want another grip for the D300 now that the D700 inherited the old one.
D3/D3X has a built in grip
I know, but I don't want a D3 yet... D3x isn't for me.
you know, i wasn't feeling the rumored specs of the D3X either
when space is an issue and i have to take my grip off my d100, a part of me dies inside
Is the jump from the D50 to the D80 worth it?
D50 high ISO > D80 high ISO
really? i doubt that seeing that anything above ISO 400 on the D50 sucks pretty bad.
800 on my D80 is pretty miserable
really? I don't mind mine too much...
even 1250 doesn't bother me one bit...
anyway - It's good to hear the d80 is going to a good home... I'll cry the day I get rid of mine...
