I remember how aerosols were destroying our o zone layer and we completely reversed that shit. Glad humanity got on the same page for that one.

Imagine if we were tasks to do that now lol
Everyone forgot and it ended up on a t-shirt as fake news

It was CFCs that were destroying the ozone and they got banned

Aersols are not inherently bad for the ozone

Yes you are correct.

I still wonder if an undertaking like that would even be possible in todays climate
People are less receptive to that and governments are less able to make those types of restrictions these days

It’s quite sad because we’re destroying the planets ability to inhabit humans and we can’t come together to fix it

No. It's because there were alternatives to CFCs. Similar to the unleading of gasoline and industrial desulfurization. There is not yet alternative that will allow us to decarbonize in the same way we desulfurized. We just have to live with a bit more CO2 in the atmosphere, the benefits of activities that happens to emit CO2 far outweigh the alternatives at the moment. Should we develop technologies that reduce emissions? Absolutely. Should we drastically lower our quality of life to pursue some arbitrary climate numbers? Absolutely not.

Tears in the SLYM may explain some of the long term symptoms of traumatic brain injury, Møllgård and team speculate. Disruption of this barrier would allow immune cells from the skull direct access into the brain, cells that are not calibrated for brain conditions. This could explain ongoing inflammation.

The flow of waste out of the brain can also continue to be suppressed for a long period after brain injury, and altered flow patterns of the cerebrospinal fluid because of the membrane's rupture may explain this.
