what paperwork if any is needed for this?
In idaho, selling to person in Utah
you need to ship it to a FFL in Utah. have him get you ffl info, call ffl, ask him what to do
Unless you're going to meet him in person. Then just drive and swap cash for gun.
And break the law.
people in different states + handgun = must go through FFL
Hell, people in different states = must go through FFL
Really? I was unaware of that. I thought that was just if you're shipping it.
He is a friend of mine.. Im drivng to SLC next weeekend.
I take it i still need a ffl?
this gun auction has me confused
its this pistol. but with the one i have you could not hit a shotgun shell box at 15feet..
it doesn't matter that he's your friend. if your state of residence is different from HIS state of residence, you need an FFL.
And in some states you need it even if you're both in the same state. But, since you're in idaho and he's in utah, yes...you have to go through an FFL.
to be fully legal ya, but.....
Yup this is the law.
