what semi auto shotguns do you guys have?
what would you recommend for under $600?
benelli and two browning A5s.
for under 600, try and find a used browning gold hunter, or winchester x2.
or get a beat to shit remington 1100 and dont worry about scratching it. you really cant go wrong with any of the major brands
Remington Sportsman 58 12GA
benelli SBE is pretty good, and light... but for a beater gun... rem 1187
I have a Benelli M3 Super 90. I'm not 100% positive, but I don't think they are imported any longer. I bought it as a half-assed investment (at least that's the excuse I used), and it's unfired, so I can't tell you how it shoots.
I bought a used benelli M1S90 for $600. I love it.
benelli super 90s are awesome guns with a decent capacity if you can find one cheap get it... either that or buy that saiga 12ga if you want to be a man
looking for something to shoot skeet/clays once in awhile
1958 Browning A-5 "Sweet Sixteen"
Too bad 16 guage is expensive near impossible to find
I'd say get a Franchi or Stoeger, they use what is essentially the same action as a Benilli at half the price.
I was saying thats what I have, not what I think he should get.
Personally I want a Light Twenty
I have a Remington 1100 Tournament Skeet. It retails for ~$900, but you may be able to find one cheaper.
Ok its not entirely impossible but its not the kind of thing you can out to walmart and buy in a box of 100 for 15 bucks.
you can go to any academy type store and buy a case of it (not as cheap as 12ga), granted its not as common as a 12 gauge shell so you're limited to what loads etc to buy... id shoot a 16ga but i have no need for one
We dont have Academy around here and all the places we do have don't carry it. Hell I'd shoot a 16 gauge if I could find it in bulk for a decent price.
4 browning a5's
pre WWII era Remington Model 11 16ga
