I love the color in all 4 shots, but each one has something catching my eye, rather then the intended subject..
#1 is the damn bush in the lower left.
#2 is the water jet
#3 is the blur
#4 is the tree, lower left.
Otherwise, like I said, I love the color.
yeah, i cant for the life of me get that one spec off. ive tried everything. even swabbing it wont take it off.
im hoping to go to BGA sometime in the next few months. i've been wanting to ride this one for a long time now...and get my free DVD of the ride!
free dvd? esplain?
they do video/stills during the ride...and helping set up the system (from a remote location) allows me in's.
i know they do that. they try to sell it like crazy. but i didnt know you helped setup the system.
Man. I read this as Shakira.
what font is that?
That's a fun drop.
If you use a BRAND-NEW razorblade, you can pull it across the sensor to remove the dust if it's really stuck-on. The razor blade must be absolutely brand-new, though, and it helps if you have a strip of leather to smooth the blade on first.
Yes, I've done it before.
the watermark font? its some kind of '*** handwriting' font. not sure of the name anymore. I have it set in a photoshop action.
and your nuts if you think im taking a razorblade to my sensor. it was scary enough swabbing it.
Just a suggestion. It should be noted that you wouldn't be scraping it across, just pushing it across letting the sharp edge of the blade rest on the sensor under its own weight. The dust probably isn't actually STUCK on the sensor, it just needs something very thin to get under it and lift it off, which is where the razor edge comes into play.
I like the shots, easily good enough for an advertising pamphlet for the park.
As for the dust spot, when I have one that seemingly won't go away, I just set my swab thing and scrub the fuck out of the sensor, back and forth over it and pushing down as hard as necessary. Now it'll be dislodged and your sensor will be all smeared and dirty looking, but all you have to do is swab it properly once or twice and the smears and dust spot are gone.
I agree, but before you get too excited, they won't buy your images. Every set of parks has at least 2-3 photographers that shoot every single set of PR shots. No matter how good it is, they just won't.
If you happen to go to Aquatica before I make it out to Florida, I hope you'll get shots as worthy as these to post.
Auqatica? Cant save ive ever heard of it.
And I didnt plan on trying to sell them back to the park. Those bastards are stingy enough as it is. Its good though. I still use my expired platinum passport (I now have a gold) to go on the rides 2x in a row.
Aquatica...the waterpark being built next to SeaWorld, FL.
you're a passport member? send me your pass number...
*goes in and sets it to contact security*
i bet im not the only one that does it. ill have to check out the park sometime. ever been to discovery cove?
Me too. All along I've avoided the thread because I thought it said Shakira
nope, never been to florida.
