Amuse me...tell me what to shoot this week.
I shot a wedding reception this past Saturday with around 550ish guests. Was intense first time too. My shots lack wow factor. Still going through 1200 images
I hate shooting weddings.
Anything but nature, landscapes or sports. Easy shit and there's waaaay too much of it in A&P. We need more serious studio model work.
You need to learn to not take so many damn pictures!
I dont think theres a limit to a wedding. Only a handful are good. It was a good first time experience
Shame - cheerleading season is upon us.
thats nothing man
Not a sport.
you must be missing the 400 film noir threads i've started....
Portraits, headshots, 3 houses, and normal bullshit.
i posted photos of my trip to shanghai in the main forum
You know you're special and everyone loves your sports photography.
I need to go out and shoot. I haven't done anything where it hasn't been for a client in a long time.
I might go pick up a gray backdrop to do some studio stuff. I've got plenty of chicks to shoot...
I was thinking the same about the backdrop. I'm trying to curb my photography related spending though. The 24-70L kicked my ass.
Hockey season is almost upon us... FINALLY.
I need that lens for my current studio set up. My 17-40 is too wide and my 70-200 is too long. Damnit!
It's a wonderful lens. I need to round up some women to take pictures of.
The "OMG it's so big" comments are just too hard to resist.
We shoot between 4000-7000 pictures in a single wedding. But that is with two people. Alone average between 2000-3500.
Go to a wedding with 1200 guests and try to take anything less. + you gotta be at grooms house, at brides house, hair salon, and park and sometimes even at best man's house.
Typical American style wedding is like going out to take pictures of your car. Try working on Persian weddings, Jews weddings, Armenian weddings and some Asian weddings...where it involves a lot of traditions, etc. Very complicated.
I felt awkward walking around because I dunno if I would be in the videographers way. Do you guys just go where you want?
Always. I go anywhere I'm allowed to go. I see them and they see me. I find the angles I want and start shooting. If they see that I'm in the way of them getting the shot, they'll ask me how long I'll be there.
Who gives a fuck if they are there or not. Get the right angle and get the shot.
I am so fucking bored and Im here at work for 5 more HOURS!!#@%#$AE
what the hell is OTAP doing?!
