My buddies, he built it from scratch. Has about $2,000 into it. Shoots wonderful I want one now.
Those look so sad with 10 round magazines.
That was my first thought also.
I saw the short magazine, then I saw the mag release button (lack of)...then I went when I saw the location
Then I went because I am from CA and building an AR also
But I have the 10rd mags that look like 20rd ones
Where in the Bay are you from? Where did you shoot? The rifle looks awesome!
San Jose, MetCalf (Field Sports)
I'm thinking of moving to Arizona in a year or two so I'll jut pick up a regular AR then
I just got mine yesterday. My 1k rounds is still on backorder though
But I picked up a couple hundred rounds yesterday so I can take her to the range hopefully today
edit never mind I see your thread now
I dunno man, I don't know shit about AR's
Looks like the one POF i posted in my what to buy thread minus the neutered lower
the way he "fixed" his mag sucks
2000 bucks? eek.
For two grand it better police it's own brass and cook me a damn steak after a day at the range.
not seeing where the 2k went
A regular AR will be about $800 lets say. And he looks like he has more than a few hundred dollars worth of handguards and rails. And that doesnt look like a basic 6-POS stock to me. And those flip up BUIS can add up. And the fluted barrel.
handguard w/ rails, and fluted barrell for $1200 w/o even an optic
he might have a piston upper... more $ there as well
He was buying a bunch of stuff for it last time we went to the range and it came out to be $900something. I'll ask him what he has exactly. Not like he cares about $2000 though, he makes like $130K a year
FAC Piston upper with handguard rails and flip ups retails for $1250.
OOOOOOOOOOO he is sooo Erich
More hood rich than ERich
