My mom had been buggin me to get some pictures of the base I'm stationed on in Japan so I went walking around for a while and this is what I turned up with. Marine Corps Base Camp Foster, Okinawa Japan This is the Battalion PT field. The red table is where the unit leader leads the PT from. My home. The BEQ (Bachelor Enlisted Barracks) for Motor-T and LS Co. Camp services at work. Marines get tasked out from their regular jobs for a month and put on camp services to keep the base looking good. Sucks to be them. We live right on the coast, typhoons are awsome to watch from the barracks. E-3's and below can't leave base without a liberty partner and I didn't feel like signing out. Just a high back humvee. Shot of the Motor Pool from the barracks. You can see some humvees, 7-tons, LVSs, and a few tankers across the street. Another shot of the ocean and the maintence lot. Smoke break at the Motor-T barracks. Emergency typhoon crew getting ready to leave. We're in typhoon season. Couple pictures of some local contracters working on base. The ferris wheel out in town all lit up at night. Was a full moon last night.
