What do you guys suggest for home protection...or shooting zombies?
What ever you use don't use number 12 shot loads or any bird shot, it will not stop a person very well. The general consensus is buck shot 00 or 000 or slugs. That's just what i've read tho for what that's worth.
thank you for the input

+1 on the birdshot.
birdshot is for birds.
I have some 00 buck wolf which feeds well. I've actually read that the reduced recoil loads have tighter groups buy 5-10 rounds of all the popular loads (winchester, federal, remington) and try them out.
where do you suggest i buy them? online or a store?
2 3/4 remington 00 and 000 buck is what I keep in mine.
well, if you decide to buy a few different brands it might be easier to get them at a store because of shipping or what not. i bought 250 rounds of 00 buck from midway...i'll probably have that shit forever
i've been using remington so far in my shotgun...i think they are birdshot...whatever they sell out on the shelves, but i know its not target load, bought from walmart...but i only shoot for fun and keep some slugs just in case someone breaks in
I have a mix of slugs and buckshot in my gun, I would have to check to see the exact mix, but I think they are alternating.
I've got the 2 3/4" Low Recoil Winchester Super X 00 buck in my M500. With the SpecOps it is SO smooth.
SAIGA gets 2 3/4" Buckhammer Remington Reduced Recoil Slugs and 2 3/4" Federal #1 buck.
