I think so. Mebbe the $595 one. But I also want an AR upper to go with my new lower. Probably can only afford one or the other.
EE on Arfcom or something.
Yah I was looking at riverofguns. That's pretty much what I had in mind though.
do you guys think its worth it to get the cheapest, or should one spend more money on the better grades?
you are too quick for me...I tried to ninja to save my dignity
I'm thinking Service Grade.
I'm going down to pick up a service grade M1 in a week or two.
Post pictures. I want to know what a service grade looks like.
Actually don't, it'll save me a bout a grand.. and a garand.
Ot'er thegooch just recently got one.
so what does WRA, SA, and HRA mean?
Winchester Repeating Arms, Springfield Armory, Harrington & Richardson Arms. I'm personally gunning for an SA just because I like Springfield.
Do yourself a favor and get at least a Service grade. You'll have about 60 days to save up the $100 difference as it's taking the CMP 2 months to ship.
Service Grade Winchester
Field Grade Winchester
WRA's are sold out anyway.
Nice. Definately thinking about it.
OK I called this morning. The girl said if I mailed in an order form it probably wouldn't get processed until the end of March; since I'm going to be in AL in mid-April I'll just make a side trip then to pick one up FTW.
Order a POF upper and while your waiting you can buy an M1
