futureshop has it for -$100 retail right now so its 700 bucks. usually 800...now should i go get it now or wait for a christmas sale or just get something entirely different? :noes:

personally i'd buy a used 40d over that. i've seen them going for 750-800.

heh yeah maybe in the US. unfortunately i live in canada 40D bodies run about 1000 here heh...

I saw it for $600 yesterday.
yeah in the US i wish i could get pricing like that 700 is the lowest ive seen it. i just wonder if christmas deals will be any better than this

not sure if im man enough for a 20/30/40D :eek3: lol this will be my first DSLR but ive played around with old SLRs :dunno: just want something to have fun with

Understood, but you'll regret not going tp D series, they are made better, feel better, work better. I regret not getting one :wtc:
