I don't do any ab work what so ever, so I am sure I have pretty weak abs. I am going to start some "needsize ab routine" I found on afboard today to fix the problem Anyway, this problem happens mostly on front squats, although every now and again on back squats. As soon as I unrack the weight and do one rep, I have a really hard time taking a deep breath for the next rep. I can kind of bounce the weight up to get the weight off a little and then take in the rest of the breath. Could this be a sign that my abs are weak and the weight being all on the front is compressing my midsection making it difficult to take in a full breath? Or does this happen to everyone on front squats? I am having a serious problem today wording my posts, so this ended up being a bit long.
