My bushy and colt uppers use to eat it up just fine, accuracy was slightly better then wolf.
I was a wolf buyer, then have had 3 jams in the last 2 outings. I have like 250 rounds left and refuse to use it. I don't know what to do with it.
Note that its a bimetal bullet so you wont be able to use it at bsr. If its plinking stuff I'd try it but then again if you're rifle isn't liking wolf I'm not sure...
local indoor range
Nope, hard on the backstop, pretty common restriction for indoor ranges.
pretty sure the silver bear isn't steel core, just steel jacketed
I've used quite a bit of it... good ammo
Bimetal jacketed. It's been illegal to import steel-core ammunition for decades. RO's are downright superstitious at any range with ammo restrictions - if ANY part of it attracts a magnet, it's usually out.
My AR doesn't like to feed the zinc-coated stuff - seems to bind just enough to cause FTFs. Wolf polymer-coated ammo feeds just fine, however...
Send it to me
What would you be getting that would qualify anyway?
Yeah we can't get the good stuff
No M855 for IL?
We can have it.
Yeah I just don't think thats good stuff
Error 404: Good stuff not found.
I was dumb and bought 1k rounds of it and after 3 jams, one requiring a shit ton of work to remove a jammed case from the gun made me say fuck it. Now I have 600 rounds sitting in my closet. It has that awful smell to it too when you open the box. I'm trying to pawn it off on my friends who can actually use it.
They smell like cat piss to me. Although, they work fine in my AR for plinking, so I am torn on them
Tempting...I ran about 100 rounds through my CMMG and it was fine...My rifle didn't like WOLF at all though...
Thanks for the info, picked up 500.
