rather than a private one as it was intended, we may as well air it out. He responded to a users post requesting information with what was essentially, "Fuck you whore, get out". That response from a moderator has never been appropriate in a subforum where a user is asking for information and assistance. He could have said something like: "There have been specific recommendations made in this thread which will help you meet your specific goals in relation to your stomach/midesction. My personal suggestion is that you focus on a diet which contains high percentages of low fat meats including proteins ... blah blah blah ... and exercising 3 times a week focusing on cardio and blah blah blah ... and I assure you that if you keep up this regiment for 90 days you will see results. If you don't have time to follow these simple steps then I would respectfully suggest to you that you are not very serious about your stated desire to shape your midsection." And gotten the exact same point across WITHOUT crossing a line and bashing the user. When I approached him about his post in the thread he basically told me to go fuck myself too. If I didn't like his response too bad, that's how he's always been and that's how he's going to stay. If I didn't like it I should demod him and he didn't care. Slow the fuck down!! Who said anything about demodding? All I did was ask if he thought his comment to the user was appropriate. All he had to do was say " hey man, my bad, I won't do that again" and it would all have been over right then and there. Then in the middle of the PM's back and forth he decided to go make a PUBLIC thread about a PRIVATE matter and air our laundry. This is not acceptable behavior. He was absolutely NOT banned over the post he made, he was banned due to how he handled everything AFTER the post he made. He brought this on himself and there was absolutely no need to demod him until his actions AFTER the post he made. Nobody made him handle this poorly, he chose to do that on his own. I regret that he chose to handle it in the manner that he did, he did a great job 99.9% of the time in this forum and in general.
