Just a FYI.
This is a photo of 5 lbs. of fat (top) and 5 lbs. of muscles (bottom).
My gym (Golds in Lakeridge VA) had a display like that a few months ago, except with "20 pounds" of artificial fat.
It was so fucking disgusting I amped up the cardio for about a month at the thought that I was carrying that around.
OT: my friend used to train at Gold's Clocktower, Herndon... said, Batista trains there. Is that far from you?
Herndon is c. 25 minutes or so.
reminds me of high school health class, i threw the fat blob at the girls from the volleyball team
the fat looks delicious
count me in
And people say they lack motivation.
I always thought of the baseball/softball analogy.
Needs something else in the pic for scale
I always heard 1lb of muscle is the size of a golf ball but 1lb fat is the size of a large orange
Dunno if that's accurate or not
Here's a photo of a 1 lb. of each.
Another 5 lbs. comparison.
When I "look" bigger in clothes, it's more of the yellow stuff. No thanks.
so getting fat is a great way to look bigger in clothes....excellent...
news to me. I always thought people were staring because I'm so damned hot
is that muscle with or without pump
think of your quad when it's pumped and there you have it.
under 15% bf... prolly... over... hell no
but still, there's gonna be that illusion where you're leaner and look bigger...for some reason. weird.
especially in pics on F&N
I notice it here more so than any other forum.. I don't know why
thats how alot of those coaches get those massive gains in 6 weeks or whatever, they get a fat, but muscly guy who has worked out for years, cut 30 pounds of fat off him, and all of a sudden, he's swole.
People here are masters of the shadow effect
i hate that shit
