So I have a fairly low-mileage Cadillac XLR that I acquired last year, and one of the few problems it has is some damage to the underside of the passenger fender, namely a hole/crack in the panel, and a little bit of rash on the wheel arch and bumper. Since it's a composite, I guess it's repairable but with the cost of a brand new fender panel being about $750 + paint, is it even worth repairing something like that?

Do I understand correctly that no matter what I do, they're going to have to blend the rest of the bumper, passenger door, and possibly hood?

Any advice or estimates on how much I'm going to hate this process appreciated :wiggle:

Pony up, replace it, and blend.
