said in a sherdog interview that he is concidering dropping down to 155 and that he wants penn
i hate how dropping a weight class is the answer for a lack of talent, skill, or hard work.
he doesnt deserve to fight penn.
diego is hard working, but has some holes in his game and game plan. bad idea to let a wrestler put you on your back. and his striking needs serious work.
but he is small at 170 and fitch showed that.
he's gonna get rocked at 155 lmao
yeah he is small at 170. He needs to work on his stand up alot more if he could develop some better striking to compliment his ground game it would benefit him. He also spoke about bulking up and becoming a bigger guy at 170. I would really like to see that.
If he can cut fat and water only, he'd be huge at 155 and be able to use his aggression to push guys around. My only concern is that I don't think he's ever ever ever cut anywhere near that amount of weight before.
didnt he fight in the 185 weight class on The Ultimate Fighter?
Yeah, a lot of fighter fought at whatever weight class they could get for a shot. Rashad fought at HW.
hate to say it, but if they fought at 155, i see Kenflo, as much as I hate him, running off with the fight.
yeah id like to see him drop to that weight. It would be a smart move
yeah he looked tiny against fitch. 155 is probably a smart move for him
I'd like to see it. For some reason a stacked lightweight division to me is more appealing than welter. But then again, both divisions have fucked up title problems. lw has the sherk scandal, and welterweight is bogged down with waiting for the tuf shit to run through.
the tuf coaches should always fight in the tuf finale. fans spend the whole season watching the hype, they should get the fight for free.
I agree, and not only that, there are too many fighters that have to sit on their ass waiting for a title shot. Well, namely GSP I guess, but I could see Karo getting a shot too.
Jon Fitch vs. Karo Parysian imo
Why doesn't he move up to 185 instead?
fitch karo does sound like a good fight
who's koscheck going to fight next? or does no one care about the too-hot-underblanket submission fighter
Exactly, look at Rich Franklin. A natural 205-210 guy cuts down to fight guys at 185.
he dropped after a win, and had already fought previously at the weight.
