GUN So I shot some .357magnum handloads at the range today

    Fucking 10 foot flame, i set the target holder next to me on fire a little.
    Everyone else was looking funny at me. Im surprised I didnt get kicked out for obviously shooting reloads.

    1st, why can't you shoot reloads at your range? That seems weird to me

    2nd, why the hell do your reloads produce a 10 foot flame?

    my carry is a 357 with a 2 1/8 and it still doesn't flame like that, it flames alot but not like that

    Too much gunpowder? Never reloaded, so I don't really know.
    If it is too much gunpowder I'd stop that shit immediately, you'll blow that thing right up in your face one of these times.

    Otherwise, I know nothing about reloading. :bigthumb:

    It's slower burning powder for achieving maximum velocity from rifle rounds. Nice show, though.

    Just because flame shoots out the barrel it doesn't mean you're shooting reloads, my buddys .44 did the same thing with factory Remington hunting ammo.

    its an indoor range so i guess they are concerned for the safety of their other customers or some such shit.
    its a 4" bbl, 14.1 grains of 2400, its a rather slow powder, it makes considerably more flame than any factory loads. considerably more report and recoil as well.
