What is supposed to be Hellion
And then the Stepford Cuckoo's, minus Esme and the other one.
Another X-Men Last Stand question.... What would the "cure" have done to Wolverine? Wouldn't his healing powers override it and create an anti-cure?
I would say that..... without the adamantium bonded to his bones it wouldn't do anything, but with it, there's a chance that it would work. But not for long...
And I just watched the movie with director/writer commentary.... They make a point that the body Xavier switched to was his identical twin brother... The writers mentioned Cassandra Nova, but wanted to have Xavier be in a body that looks like him and can walk should there ever be a sequel.
...did you notice that without the commentary?? I thought I was pretty awesome for not needing the commentary... My friends were like, 'that isn't them'. The commentary really put them in their place.
But it also put me in my place. I thought the purple chick was Ravench...and they were like, nope...it's evil Betsy.
I'd be willing to argue that it would have killed him.
It is my understanding that the reason Wolvy and Creed survived the bonding process is due to the healing factor. Every time he retracts his claws, the cut out of him (through muscle and skin...). Wolvy could tolerate a lack of healing factor for a while....maybe a month or two. But after that, I would bet that his body would go into septic shock or the like. Either that, or the pain would kill him.
with the adamantium bonded to his skeleton, he wouldnt survive without his healing factor. It would crush him
It was mentioned in House of M
Why were you watching this movie?
One of the biggest disappointments ever.....
Anybody else imagining Wolverine losing his healing factor and dieing like that dude in Indiana Jones who picked the wrong cup?
isnt the adamantium poisoning him too?
From what I gathered, the cure was a vaccine created from Leech, which is operant on the notion that he "negates" mutant powers. So, I figure that Wolverine would attempt to heal until the cure gets into his blood, at which time he will cease to heal, and then his body will reject the adamantium, lose, and he'd die.
if wolverines healing didnt stop the cure, the adamantium would kill him, wouldn't it?
I would assume so yes, metal is poison.
does nobody listen to me ?
and when magneto ripped out his adamantium, his healing factor increased beyond what it was believed he could do
it wouldn't crush him. the adamantium is toxic to flesh, without the healing factor constantly negating the toxins, the adamantium would kill him.
so getting close to leech would effectively neutralize wolverine almost to the point of death if he didn't get away.
when mags ripped out his skeleton, his healing power burnt out completely.
it wasn't until awhile later when it re-engergized to new levels
god, don't you fuckers know anything
You're a god among nerds.
how does cyber get away with it?? oh and lady deathstrike
yeah, but after he recovered he healed faster and better.
edit - after getting off the phone, i realized i just restated what you said. but i meant after he healed.
oh and bullseye
Could Magneto do the same thing to Colossus? I mean, he could always turn back to normal, but whats to stop Magneto from just splitting him in half before he did?
So wait, how did Wolverine get his adamantium back?
he was pit in a battle against sabertooth (who had a bonded skeleton) by apocalypse, and the winner got to be the next horseman of death. logan won, apocalypse ripped the adamantium out of sabertooth, and logan got his skeleton back as a part of the process of becoming the horseman.
cyber has a healing factor, lady deathstrike is a cyborg, and bullseye's peice of spinal column was seperated from direct contact to his flesh.
