He thinks he wants an RX8, does he? If not what does he want in that price range, and why(?).
G35C cuz its nice
03's with no AV > You
We looked, 6 speeds are like 35k, too expensive.
RX-8 = poop
Tell him to buy an RX-7 and use the extra money for turbo upgrades and shit. The RX-8 is slow and girly and for the money, you could probably pick up a used NSX or something halfway cool.
used s2000, closest experience to a F1 racecar.
Then 350Z might do it instead of g35
I don't think he's looking to modify, I think he wants something good off the lot.
S2k. Used or new. It's so high strung from the factory, it's a poor car to mod unless you're going to get really heavy into it, but it's a BLAST to drive in stock trim. Just change the tires and the oil periodically and you're good to go.
There's huge potential to get assraped on the price of a used RX7 and it'll be real tough to find one in great (safe) condition that isn't going to grenade because the previous owner was an asshat.
You obviously have no experience in F1 racing and must be the local village idiot.
The RX-8 is more of a luxuary car then a sports car. The interior is alot nicer and larger then an Rx-7. Also it's new engine is more reliable because it's N/A instead of twin turboed. Rx-7s are nice sport cars, but they cost alot to maintain.
After test driving the Evo8 last night, he went with that, he's picking it up later today.
with a name like that, that type of response is typical.
sorry im gonna have to take a stab at you ... with a name like mine... have you any information to back that statement... ie have you driven every car, or more yet, have you driven an F1?!?!? im gonna need proof before i go tell my little brother to buy one... or at least an educated opinion.
no other car revs to 9 grand off the showroom floor. F1 = high revving. S2000 (2.0Ls) = highest revving factory car availible for any reasonable cost.
Good choice, good power stock, and plenty of potential down the road. A guy in town ran 12.47 in the ¼ with just intake, exhaust, and AFC, and some balzy launching.
if you get an S2K i would recommend getting a newer one. the 2.2 is a much nicer engine, even though it only revs to 8k now *tear*
but the s2000 is a really great car for the money. and of course, its a honda, so it is good for a long life
